It was some comedian that said “The reason Vampires hate crosses is because they’re allergic to bullshit!” Maybe Dracula just didn’t want anything to do with crazy Jesus freaks so he ran away. Maybe he was liked him and was going to make him immortal, but he changed his mind when saw the cross.
